Description

Kitten Worming Tablets are a palatable, broad-spectrum anthelmintic for kittens and cats with a body mass of 0.5kg to over 2kg. They treat and control larval and adult stages of gastro-intestinal worms, including hookworms and roundworms, as well as all stages of tapeworm.

  • Two Active Ingredients Milbemycin oxime paralyses gastrointestinal nematodes for expulsion, while praziquantel disrupts cestode muscle function, leading to their expulsion or death.
  • Broad Parasite Coverage Effective against hookworms, roundworms, and multiple tapeworm species including Echinococcus spp.
  • Flexible Administration Can be given with or without food, or mixed into a food ration or hidden in pieces of meat for complete absorption.
  • Scored for Easy Dosing Tablets are scored on both sides for accurate weight-based dosing.
Composition

Kittens contains 4mg milbemycin oxime and 10mg praziquantel per tablet.

Product Details

Oval shaped, dark brown, meat flavoured film-coated tablets with a score side on both sides. Packed into aluminium/aluminium blister strips of 2 tablets per blister, with 24 tablets per carton.

Directions For Use

Kittens should be treated with the treatment at the age of 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks, and then monthly up to 6 months of age. Nursing queens should be treated at the same time as their kittens. Where more than one cat is being treated, ensure each pet is treated individually.

Contraindications

Do not use in cats less than 6 weeks of age and/or weighing less than 0.5kg.

Storage Instructions

Store at or below 30°C in the original packaging. After removing a tablet from the blister strip, return the remaining half to the original blister and close the foil. The remaining tablet can be stored at or below 25°C for up to 6 months.
