We are looking for a Procurement & Supply Chain Officer to join our team and help manage inventory, ensure product availability, and maintain strong supplier relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for demand planning, inventory management, supplier coordination, expiry management, and more.
Key Responsibilities- Demand Planning: Analyze monthly inventory data to set minimum and maximum stock levels based on historical trends and forecasted demand.
- Supplier Coordination: Maintain communication with suppliers to manage and adjust stock levels.
- Expiry Management: Monitor inventory for near-expiry products and collaborate with marketing to minimize losses.
- Procurement & Invoicing: Oversee the procurement process, including purchase orders and invoicing.
- Cross-departmental Collaboration: Work with customer service and marketing to align procurement with business goals.
- Inventory System Management: Ensure inventory systems are synchronized with sales channels and manage discontinued items.
- Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile transactions to maintain accurate financial records.
- Category Management: Develop product categories based on performance and market trends.
- Inventory Accuracy: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory.
- Retail Price Management: Adjust product pricing to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- 1-2 years of experience in supply chain management, inventory control, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in demand forecasting and inventory analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
- Must be comfortable working with numerical data.
- Excellent communication skills for supplier and team interactions.
- Experience with inventory management software.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
