Lebanon has a variety of great places to offer for a beautiful, relaxing weekend trip or even a longer staycation. Sadly most hotels and chalets won’t allow dogs and this is often such a bummer because otherwise many of these places would be ideal for our fur babies. Imagine a beautiful hike in the mountains, an evening walk along the seaside or in a few months some snow fun, followed by cuddling around a crackling open fire in a cosy cabin.
We believe, that you should definitely not miss out on a beautiful weekend with your loved ones and that of course includes your dog(s)! Thats why we made a list of some fantastic, pet friendly Air BnB rentals in Lebanon:
1. Spacious House by the River (Chouf)
This cool house has a big garden and direct access to a river you and your dog(s) can can swim in. It is very spacious and ideal to spend some time with friends and their canine companions, have BBQ’s, relax by the river or explore beautiful Chouf.
2. Phoenician Getaway (Batroun)
Looking for a charming but very affordable place to stay when exploring Batroun with your furry one? This is it! Clean, simple and perfectly located, the Sailors Hut is a great weekend place. During your stay you can relax at dog friendly beaches like Loco Beach Resort or Soak and later enjoy a cold beer at Colonel.
3. Lovely Home with Pets (Amchit)
If you and your dog are on the social side, try this very affordable, excellently rated gem in Amchit. You and your pup will have your own room, bathroom and balcony but share the rest of the house, the spacious roof and the cute garden with the friendly owners Nada and Joelle as well as their 2 dogs and their cat.
4. A Dream House in the Mountains (Chouf)
If you have a rather high budget to spend on your 4+ day staycation or next family/friends reunion, have a look at this fantastic place. We’ve honestly never seen a more beautiful Air BnB rental than this traditional Lebanese house from the 18th century. It has a giant garden, a pool and the inside is marvelously furnished including a cosy fireplace.
5. Extravagant Guest House ( Aley)
Have a look at the pictures and you’ll see that this isn’t the usual Air BnB place. Looking from outside a bit like Moussa’s castle, Raymond’s house is decorated with artifacts from all over the world. A truly special and interesting place worth visiting with your furry one. Located in a valley filled with springs and surrounded by pine trees, this place is also an ideal starting point for hikes.
We would love this list to get much longer, so if you know about any pet friendly Air BnBs, Hotels or Chalets, feel free to comment or send us a message. We would love to hear from you!
